Push Back From the Table and Have Faith in God!
There Comes a Time When You Have to Stop Wrestling With What You Prayed About and Start Trusting the God You Prayed To
There comes a point when you have prayed enough to know where your confidence belongs.
You have prayed, you have sought God, you have searched His Word, and you have placed the matter before Him.
Now push back from the table and HAVE FAITH IN GOD!
Hebrews 11:1 (AMPC) declares, “NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”
FAITH IS THE TITLE DEED! FAITH IS THE PROOF!
You do not need to see the manifestation to believe God is faithful. You do not need every question answered before you trust Him. You do not need your natural senses to confirm what faith has already settled.
Sometimes we keep sitting at the table reopening what we already placed in God’s hands.
We pray, then worry.
We surrender, then grab it back.
We say we trust God, then spend all night trying to figure out how He is going to do it.
At some point, prayer must become settled confidence!
Push back from the table!
Stop negotiating with fear.
Stop demanding another sign.
Stop reopening what you surrendered.
Stop trying to make God explain Himself before you trust Him.
Faith says, “I have prayed, and I have placed it before God. His Word is my evidence, His character is my confidence, now I am going to trust him!”
You may not see it with your eyes yet, faith does.
You may not understand how, faith does not require you to.
You may not know when, however faith knows Who!
Push back from the table and HAVE FAITH IN GOD!
Question For Today
Have you truly placed it in God’s hands, or are you still sitting at the table worrying, negotiating, analyzing, and repeatedly picking back up what you claim you surrendered to Him?
