Do Not Touch What God Has Anointed
If You Devise Evil Against God’s Anointed, Remember Who You Are Dealing With
There are people who deliberately devise evil against those whom God has anointed, thinking their schemes will succeed because they believe the anointed are standing alone, they are not.
Now Let’s Eat Some Meat!
Psalm 105:14-15 (AMPC): “He allowed no man to do them wrong; yes, He reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not My anointed and do My prophets no harm.”
Read that again.
“Touch not My anointed.”
This is not a slogan for spiritual celebrities to hide behind when they are corrected, it is a warning concerning God's servants and God's purposes.
So if you are intentionally plotting against someone because you know God has called them, appointed them, or sent them; STOP. Let me be clear this is a warning not only for those not in the Body of Christ, in fact the warning is even harsher for those in the Body of Christ. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s move on.
You may think you are attacking a person.
God may see you attacking what He has chosen.
You may think your influence is greater.
God's authority is greater.
You may think nobody sees the meetings, conversations, lies, manipulation, sabotage, or calculated attempts to destroy someone's reputation, or otherwise hinder the calling of God in their life.
Make no mistake, God sees it all.
And Scripture says He reproved kings for their sakes.
So before you devise another scheme, remember this;
You are not merely dealing with the person you have targeted.
You are dealing with the God who called them.
Walk carefully, and by all means, repent quickly.
Because when God decides to defend His own, your position, influence, money, title, connections, and power cannot protect you from Him.
Question For Today
Are you standing against a person because they truly violated God's Word or are you secretly fighting someone God has anointed because their calling, obedience, or favor threatens your own ego or agenda?
