Thank you, and what's new on CPAP Clarity

Thank you to everyone who bought a coffee or joined as a member this year. It's let me put far more time into CPAP Clarity than I could have otherwise.

I use a CPAP myself, and I built the site because I wanted to see what my own machine was doing, and how it lined up with what trackers like Oura and Garmin were showing. Here's what it does now.

  • It reads a lot more machines. ResMed, Philips, React Health, BMC, Yuwell, Löwenstein and Sefam cards all import, along with pulse oximeters and watches and rings like the Apple Watch, Oura, Fitbit and Garmin.

  • The night page is rebuilt. It opens with how your night went, then lays the whole night out hour by hour, with your pressure, leak and every breathing event on one clock.

  • If you wear an oximeter, it shows which breathing events lined up with a drop in oxygen.

  • History shows how your nights are trending and what stands out across them.

  • The therapy report is a clean printout you can bring to your doctor. "Copy for AI" hands an AI assistant your nights, findings and machine settings so you can ask it questions.

  • Your machine's settings are explained in plain words, and the jargon has a "?" you can tap.

  • If you use OSCAR, the backup folder it keeps of your card imports too.

  • There are 15 free tools and over 130 articles.

The whole site also got a new look this fall, and it's a lot faster. A big card that took over four minutes to load again now takes about thirty seconds.

I'm still working through it page by page to make it easier to use and understand, and I keep adding machines and features as people ask for them.

Your data stays on your computer, and the site runs only its own code. It's still free.

If you haven't been on in a while, come have a look at cpapclarity.com.
