I’m Dr. Eric Jourgensen, a journalism teacher, yearbook adviser, author, and media literacy advocate. I teach students to ask better questions, check evidence, and report what they find.
My work includes Everything I Told You Was True: How True Facts Mislead Us and How to See What’s Missing, and WATER Check: Wait, Ask, Trace, Examine, Respond. Both ask what a true quote, number, or image might leave out.
