A proposito di The Kings
The Kings is committed to increasing representation and opportunities for drag kings around Australia. We run regular shows, meet-ups and special events.
Here’s some of what we are working on at the moment:
- A monthly Auslan interpreted drag king show
- A regular drag cabaret showcase for beginner/ debuting kings to get more stage time and experience
- A world-record breaking Drag King float for World Pride
- Regular community social meet ups to help kings connect, share tips and hang out. Also a great chance for people wanting to try drag to come along and meet people.
- Building our corporate profile, advocating and booking more paid spots for drag performers.
Any support you can chip in helps to keep things running, and is sincerely appreciated.
