The Bronx is one of the most resilient communities in New York, but it’s also one of the hardest hit by poverty and rising costs. Over 30% of Bronx families live below the poverty line, and for many, the holidays bring more stress than joy.
That’s why we created Bronx Giving and the DPA Community Holiday safe, joyful spaces where neighbors can share meals, receive essential supplies, and celebrate with dignity.
This year, our goal is to serve 500 families across two events:
BronxGiving (Nov 22nd) → warm meals, groceries, toys, and community love.
DPA Community Holiday (Dec 16th) → meals, gifts, winter supplies, and a celebration of Bronx pride.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to make this happen.
