Halloween Fun, Retro Gaming & Future Plans 🎃

It's been a busy couple of weeks for us with lots of Halloween-themed fun!

A couple of weeks ago, we visited Harry Potter World. Being huge Harry Potter fans and my mates 40s, we absolutely loved it. I think it was my third visit now, but it's always amazing to see all the sets, props, and behind-the-scenes magic that went into making the films. It never gets old!

We've also been pumpkin picking. The plan was to come home with two or three pumpkins... somehow we ended up with twenty! 😂

One of the highlights was visiting Screamfest. It was absolutely fantastic! This year there were seven themed zones, each packed with actors, jump scares, dark environments, flashing lights, and plenty of unexpected moments. The actors did a brilliant job and really helped create an immersive experience. The food was nice too, which is always a bonus after a night of screaming your way through horror attractions!

Next week we're heading to a Halloween show, which we're really looking forward to, and of course we'll be watching plenty of horror films along the way. I honestly love Halloween. It's my favourite time of year.

What horror films have you been watching lately?

On the retro gaming side of things, I'm being a bit predictable and keep finding myself wanting to play CivNet! The Facebook group has had some fantastic posts this week, and the admin team continue to do an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly.

Video creation has taken a bit of a back seat recently because we've had so much going on. Between buying a new house and getting a new bathroom installed in our current place, time has been in short supply. That said, I definitely plan to keep making gameplay videos. I'd love YouTube to become a bigger part of my life going forward.

I've also made a new friend who has created a website for playing retro DOS games, so I'm looking forward to giving that a try and sharing my thoughts.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. There's so much more going on behind the scenes, but that's enough for now!

If you'd like to support what I do, consider buying me a coffee, and don't forget to check out my Halloween video which goes live today!

YOU GUYS ROCK!
