We have a small but important update from DondeGo.
DondeGo is growing not only as an independent local media platform and city guide for Barcelona and Madrid, but also as a structured local data project.
We now have a public GitHub repository for the DondeGo API:

The API is designed to provide structured access to local events, places, dates, categories and city discovery data, starting with Barcelona and Madrid.
And we already have the first real use case.
We are using DondeGo data to power daily event selections on X:

Every day, these accounts help people discover some of the best events happening today in Barcelona and Madrid.

This is an important step for us because DondeGo is not only a reader-facing local guide. We also want to build a useful urban content layer for developers, newsletters, maps, media teams, cultural projects and local discovery products.
If you are building something around events, culture, city life or local recommendations in Barcelona or Madrid, we would be happy to share our data for free. The only thing we ask is that you link back to DondeGo as the source.
