I grew up by the Lithuanian seaside, where the calm of pine forests and the rhythm of the waves shaped the way I see the world. Now I live in Vilnius, but through photography I often return to that quiet, dreamlike melancholy that has followed me since childhood. I am especially drawn to photographing women, whose presence and calm strength I find inspiring. In my work, women appear sensitive, nude or partially revealed, unposed and unpolished, never eroticized. I am drawn to their honesty, their presence, and the gentle dialogue they share with nature. My images linger in fleeting moments that feel fragile, intimate, and quietly nostalgic.
Since 2024, I’ve been developing an ongoing project, “Artists and Their Daily Life,” capturing the daily worlds of young Lithuanian creators—their studios, their habits, and the spaces where ideas slowly take root.
My debut exhibition, Abejur, brings these sensibilities together for the first time. It feels like a beginning, a quiet invitation to keep observing, listening, and shaping what is still unfolding.
