As a working class, queer & neurodivergent creative it’s always been difficult to have faith that I’m putting my energy into the right things or to feel good enough, or valid, in my actions.

After starting doing gig photography in 2019 and forming our DIY band Hinata in 2020 lockdown I realised my life without community, songs, art and culture is meaningless. I know that music, people, scenes and grassroots action are some of the most powerful innovations in humanity, and that capturing and creating as much as I can is essential to my well-being.

That being said, many creative people are not given any payment for the hours they put in. I, and many others, put in countless hours of our lives for next to nothing in monetary value due to the disgusting inequality in our unjust society and the lack of value those people put on creativity.

By using this app to pay forward a coffee or a pint still makes a huge difference in motivating me to create more things for you to enjoy and to feel appreciated and wanted for the things that I do which is an unbeatable feeling.
