This has always been on our mind the moment we realised that Dalya is intellectually disabled, above all her inability to thrive on her own. Dalya is constantly in need of monitoring and aid 24/7. Knowing is half the battle. We have nobody to learn from and nowhere to refer to, so we relied on our own daily trials and errors to understand Dalya and to better equip ourselves (or whoever that may step in to help if we are no longer in the picture).
