Free sample: source-level HTML QA in practice

Sep 09, 2026

A small example of the work behind the Static HTML QA Snapshot.

Observed in one public HTML snapshot:
• Six image elements were missing an alt attribute across repeated arrow-image locations.
• Source inspection alone could not prove whether the arrows were decorative.
• The safe recommendation was to confirm purpose first, then use alt="" only for confirmed decorative images.

What this sample demonstrates: evidence is separated from assumptions, repeated source occurrences are counted honestly, and no claim is made about rankings, accessibility compliance or conversions.
