Coming back from another amazing event ChillZouk Marathon 4th Edition - Spring 2023 where I alawys feel so comfy and surrounded by lovely people. It is just a pleasure to play there every time <3
This year we repeated something we have been doing for the last 2 years with Carlos - played one Back to Back set together.
What does Back to back set means? You play together with another DJ and usually change after 1 song each. So you don't have any help from your software (normally ou can sync the tempo of the songs and match the key). You have only your comunication together and your ear.
I love so much to play with Carlos, because we share the phylosophy and energy behind choosing the music in the right moment and it always turns out great. Also playling like this is a great challenge from technical point of view but also it brings lot of inspiration (you have to work from something unfamiliar for you). I wish more DJs try to explore this and events are open for it <3
