The Halfling's View Substack focusses on Law, Literature, Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

A wide compass I know but one which allows me a large degree of freedom to write on things that may interest you and certainly interest me. My legal training means that what I write has been thoroughly researched and analysed. Where I venture an opinion I make that clear.

I critically examine the way that messages are disseminated from the State and from other agencies and maintain a sharp, critical focus on Mainstream Media.

I endeavour to be objective and push back against critical theory and any writing that suggest a set of circumstances that are not reflected in reality. And I call things as I see them.

Mine is an independent voice. I don't uncritically adhere to party lines or narratives that are acceptable to the powers that be.
