That Thing You Do! just celebrated 30 years, and I couldn't let that anniversary pass without a little nostalgic nudge.
My husband and I saw it when it was originally released, and I’ve loved this movie ever since. A fictional band, a one-hit wonder, 1964, and Tom Hanks creating these wonderfully specific personas for the characters.
I recently watched part of the behind-the-scenes documentary and fell in love with the movie all over again.
But maybe the real nudge isn't about becoming a one-hit wonder.
Maybe it's about not waiting forever for your moment.
That idea.
That dream.
