From Adobe Photoshop to Affinity Photo. For more than 20 years as a professional graphic designer & photographer, my "go to" app had been Adobe Photoshop. I have tried other applications in the past, but none compared with Photoshop until now. Affinity Photo is so much like Adobe Photoshop, that there was only a one day learning curve for me. The best part is that It reads and writes Photoshop files (except in very few exceptions). Now someone can learn Affinity Photo and still apply for a job where Photoshop is used. Many including myself are unhappy that Adobe changed to a subscription model. Now I teach with Affinity.
