Hey, I’m Devin — aka Divo.
I’m a loud-yet-quiet, excitable 37-year-old, and honestly still the biggest kid at heart. I believe if you can make anything feel like play, you’re never really working — and you’ll always find a way through.
Over the years, I’ve lived a blessed life full of dope experiences. I grew up in a classic Midwest American family and started working in the service industry at 15 — serving, bartending, even managing by 18. That’s when I discovered I had a deep love for serving others.
But somewhere along the way, I started going through the motions. Despite being surrounded by people — from the “who’s who” to the folks society tends to overlook — I felt like an alien on the outside looking in, craving something deeper.
That’s where this journey comes in.
This September, I’m traveling to South America with the Worldpackers organization — a chance to give back in a more meaningful way, help communities, connect with other change-makers, and grow through service. My friend Anthony (aka Tony) is joining me. We’re not huge fans of social media, but we know it’s a powerful tool to reach more people — especially those like us who are looking for connection, purpose, and a little inspiration.
Tony’s got a gentle spirit but freezes up in front of the camera. So I’m stepping up — sharing our story, helping amplify our impact, and (hopefully) inspiring others to lean into purpose too.
That’s why I’m asking for your support.
From social tools to waterproof gear (my current electronics are hanging on by a thread), every bit of help gets us closer to being ready — and making this journey count.
