Buying comics for kids and delivering comics workshops to schools.
Destination Venus is a comic store in Harrogate, North Yorkshire run by an ex-teacher who is passionate about getting comics into the hands of kids. We visit schools and libraries to deliver comics workshops to support literacy and creativity with kids of all ages and abilities. Funds left here will be used to buy comics for kids who wouldn't otherwise get them, and to support the school visits.
