Hi everyone!

27 July 2021, what a momentous, emotional day it was for me.

Project Haans has been a passion project on mine since 2019. I kicked it off in an event for Autism Awareness & Acceptance on 27 April 2019. It was a great event thanks to the partnerships with like minded souls. After the event, my passion project got put on the back burner, many times for so many reasons. This year, I took that step, and made things happen!

So, let me tell you why the 27 of July 2021 in particular, is such an important date for me. Have you ever heard of the phrase "All good things come in three"?

Firstly, let me tell you who Haans is. He is my 6-year old on the autism spectrum who is my inspiration and teacher on this journey I call life. At the age of 2, Haans was diagnosed with autism. He turned 6 years on 27 July 2021.

When I told my friend, that I was going to launch the Website on 27 July, she graciously invited me as a guest on her IG Live Being Curious Series to celebrate the launch. Thank you Melissa Indot! Melissa has been a big part of my journey towards launching the Project Haans Website.

A few days later, I got a notification in my email. The National University of Malaysia (UKM - Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia), senate officially signed of on awarding me a Master in Education (Special Education). They came to this decision on.............27 July 2021. This was a journey that I nearly quit many times. So, it was with tears of joy I celebrated this moment of achievement.

Haans has always and will always be an inspiration to me. My strongest supporter who always catches me even before I fall, is my husband. He never lets me give up on anything I started with passion. So, today, I dedicate this post to him, in gratitude for his love and presence in my life.

Thank you for reading this post.
