Colors used:
- Black
- Royal Purple
- Military Green
- Pastel Green
- Beige Red
1. Prime with Black
2. Apply base from 70:30 mix Royal Purple and Military Green
3. Apply pure Military Green on 80% of the area, leaving the deepest recesses and areas in the shadow purple. I did this by glazing in thin layers.
4-5. Mix more and more Pastel Green into the Military Green and paint where the light would hit, painting a smaller and smaller area the more Pastel Green you mix in until you are happy with the contrast.
6. Paint a very thin line of pure Pastel Green between each muscle where the brightest area meets the darkest.
7. Glaze in Beige Red in areas of distresssed skin, knuckles and palms, elbows...
