Surveys and research shows that the one thing that one of the easiest and most important things that people can do as a form of climate action is to talk to each other. By doing that, people can see they are not alone in their concerns about climate change and become more comfortable talking about and taking actions to address climate change.

Yet that same same research shows that people are not in fact talking to each other.

And they are not talking to people from other generations, even when they have thoughts about how the current situation came to be and who should do what to tackle it now. As a result, generations don't know what the other generations think or want, especially when it comes to what the younger generations want from Boomers.

The need for Intergenerational discussion and dialogue is why the Four Generations Talk Climate podcast was created. Each podcast episode features a Boomer, a GenX'er, a Millennial, and a GenZ'er having a spirited and sometimes snarky discussion of climate change issues and topics. Sometimes sparks fly. This podcast gives the younger generations a place to express themselves to those above them.

The podcast was created without any financial support to demonstrate the concept. Given the wide acclaim it is getting, we now need to ask for help in continuing it. Your contribution will go towards the production and distribution of the podcast. It is not a request for a recurring membership fee.

We are asking for an unspecified contribution based on the fact that different people have different abilities to lend support. As the younger generations often point out on the podcast, older generations have a greater ability to help, and a contribution to the podcast is a way to show them that you are supportive.
