I believe the home is one of the greatest creative expressions of our lives—an art form not simply observed, but inhabited. Our surroundings quietly enrich the everyday, shaping our routines, nurturing our well-being, and forming the backdrop of our memories. This philosophy underpins what I’m building: a brand rooted in beauty, purpose, and craftsmanship, where thoughtful interiors lay the foundation for more intentional lives. Its visual language draws from the enduring elegance of Parisian interiors, bridging old-world character and contemporary design through my own lens.

At its core, great design lies in the sum of considered choices that separate the merely appealing from the truly distinctive. Such spaces feel collected rather than decorated. They evolve piece by piece over time, bringing together elements of varied provenance, each chosen for the role it plays within the whole, irrespective of passing trends. The result is an interior that feels timeless and personal rather than prescribed.

Beyond what fills a room is its composition, down to the subtleties that often go unnoticed. It begins with the relationships that shape a space: how flow guides movement; how proportion and scale create balance; and how rhythm and visual hierarchy direct the eye. The quality and layering of light set the atmosphere, while colour, material, texture, and patina introduce depth and character. Architectural detailing gives a space its language, while consistency of finishes creates cohesion without demanding uniformity. Measured restraint brings clarity and discipline, giving every element room to breathe. Nothing exists in isolation. Even the smallest utilitarian details are treated as integral to the design.

It is through the projects I undertake that these principles become tangible. I document each transformation from concept to completion, revealing the thinking behind the design and every detail of its execution. After all, beauty is not simply something to admire; it is something we can learn to create. It begins with seeing possibility where others see limitation, and having the creative ingenuity to give it form.

At the heart of the brand is a growing atelier devoted to the art of creating home, spanning design, restoration, curation, writing, and visual storytelling. Its work will encompass a considered body of content and resources, select services, and a signature collection. In time, Élysée will extend beyond the spaces we inhabit to the ways we inhabit them, exploring hospitality, wellness, and the rituals of domestic life. Patronage provides the means to bring this vision to fruition, with every contribution elevating the standard of work. My ambition is for Élysée to leave a lasting legacy: beautiful spaces that endure, books worth returning to, objects worthy of keeping, and ideas that continue to inspire across generations.
