Love is the hottest in summer! Heat things up with date night and fancy cocktails. It's the time of year for bright, fizzy flavours, fruit garnishes, and icy temptations. What is your drink of choice? Here are some delicious drinks to try this summer. Make them at home for a boozy date night, or throw a cocktail party.
Tom Collins: Nothing says summer quite like the botanical flavours of gin.
Ingredients:
2 ounces London dry gin
1-ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 ounce simple syrup
Club soda, to top
Garnish: lemon wheel
Garnish: maraschino cherry
Directions: Add the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup to a Collins glass. Fill with ice, top with club soda and stir. Garnish with a lemon wheel and maraschino cherry.
