...Oh, it's been six years since my last eBook. In the meantime, I've finished a novel (2021), started writing about dragons on a whim (2022 -- working title: untitled dragon project), pivoted fully to writing Fantasy/Romance (2023), started a short story that became a novella (also 2023 -- working title: magic story) and then a series (2024-now).

This year, I decided to try writing more, which meant going back to my "short" stories again... and lo-and-behold, the short story turned into yet another novella.

Formatted said novella into an eBook, designed a cover, spent way too long hand-drawing icons for the eBook and then another cover, and ta-da! Here it is.

Meet my fantasy romance novella: So you'll die for me, but marriage is out of the question.

It features a dragon-rider, a prince, some dragons, and a ridiculous title that's inspired by some fantasy romance manga I've been reading.

“I’ve sworn an oath to protect you with my life.
That means standing between you and any or all danger you face.”
His lips quirked in an ironic smile. “So you’ll die for me, but marriage is out of the question?”

Allegra, Lady of the House of Lycentras, has dreamt of taking to the skies on dragonback as a Winged Knight since childhood. The only thing standing in her way? Her betrothal to Crown Prince Calder of Vandelscott.

Luckily for her, Calder is supportive of her dream. To his parents, though, dragon-riding was a whim she was always meant to give up to settle into her role as Princess Consort.

Except now that Allegra has secured her spot as a cadet in the Winged Knight’s training programme, she doesn’t plan on leaving. Her mind is made up, her plan in place. Now all that’s left is for Calder to set her free… and for her to stay away.
