Hello Digital Network Partners! I wanted to send out a quick update on what has been going on with the dbattlespeaks digital network and what we have in store for Q3 and Q4 this year.
New Apps
Threads 🧵
The DDN has made its way to a number of new apps that have been launched over the last month. First up is the new app by Instagram called Threads. Known as a Twitter clone, Threads has received over 100 million downloads making it one of the fastest-growing social media apps ever. We have already begun using this app, adopting our digital faith content strategy as has been implemented on Facebook and Youtube. Users can find short encouraging text threads and "reel-like" videos that will minister the gospel in fresh and impactful ways. Visit our profile here and give us a follow!
Spill ☕️
In addition to Threads, DDN has also made it to Spill. Known as the "Black Twitter," Spill was created by a few former Twitter employees. This app came just in time due to the viewing limits implemented by Twitter CEO Elon Musk, Spill may serve as an adequate alternative. We are fairly new to this app and are still learning the functionality, but we hope to soon start producing digital faith content that will bless users on this platform.
The House Digital Church 🏠
Early this summer, our new church plant ran into some technical difficulties with our streaming platform. This issue ran right into part of the busiest seasons of the year with our children getting out of school for the summer and making some family adjustments. This unforeseen challenge also presented an opportunity for my wife and I to catch up on some rest and refocus. We had implemented a very aggressive digital faith content campaign and teaching schedule, but life demands really impacted our ability to continue at that pace. Understanding all of these things has given us perspective and we are just as excited to continue serving the House with preaching and teaching that will change lives, equip homes, and transform generations. Be on the lookout for us to pick back up our year-long teaching in the book of acts and some new series we will be launching in the fall.
