“Where have you been?”, is a question I get a lot. My social media presence has been scarce in lots of places for several reasons.
First, I have been trying to navigate grief. Well…actually, I have been doing my best to keep “it” in the corner. I said just yesterday, if grief looked like Mowgai then I might deal with it better. BUT, instead it looks like an ugly Gremlin which I want nothing to do with. Also, said, “Why can’t I just take a sword slay grief and have it be done and over with?”
Second, a happy thing, my daughter is getting married in April.
Plus, we have a teenager, who is an active year round athlete. It gives our family great pleasure to see her blossom and grow.
Did I mention that I have been working as a substitute for my county schools since January 2024.
My photography has been more IRL the last two years with my church’s photography LifeGroup which I lead.
