Thanks for all your videos on life in NED. my wife is half Dutch (but no passport due to their rules) but we are exploring making the move. How does a 9-5 type tech worker make such a move to NED. Mark has some mobility and geographic opportunities that a more conventional worker doesn't have. Would love to hear your thoughts on that. Proost!
Thanks, appreciate your support! Tech is definitely the area that’s probably the easiest to get into in NL (as an expat). LinkedIn is still the best platform to network with recruiters and others. There are many tech jobs around Amsterdam and in the Randstad as well. I’d network with recruiters and people on LinkedIn…apply via referrals if you can…and just keep trying. Many international/tech companies will sponsor tech workers (and their families too).
