Über David Oaks
Most of us have been sold a lie: that life peaks early and the rest is just a slow "Arc of Decline." I’m here to dismantle that narrative.
I am driven by a single, powerful conviction: the last quarter of life shouldn't be about fading away or seeking "freedom from" work. It should be the season of Convergence—the moment where your wisdom, purpose, contribution, and legacy finally come together to create your greatest impact.
Why I do this:
I’m passionate about helping people reject the "Wal-Mart Years" and instead embrace an Apprenticeship Mindset. Whether it’s through physical stewardship (because muscle isn't vanity, it’s capacity!) or reframing the "Experience Dividend," my goal is to help you build a life worth waking up to.
How your support makes a difference:
By "buying me a coffee," you aren't just supporting a creator; you are underwriting a movement. Your contributions help me:
- Develop resources to help individuals and organizations resist the narrative of irrelevance.
- Produce content that teaches how to steward the body and mind for a "second act" that truly matters.
- Build a community of "Encore" pioneers who are heading toward a different, more meaningful shore.
We aren't just aging biologically; we are aging inside a story. Thank you for helping me write a better one—for all of us.
Let’s finish well, together.
