It's a good question.
For several years I ran a website which had a political blog that was starting to build up a following. The content was long form and well researched. I never wanted to focus on clickbait or do anything that was poir quality.
Sadly, in 2016 I had to shut it down. I just couldn't afford the hosting anymore. I was sad about it, but there were other priorities.
I've written one or two things on Medium and Huffington Post, but my biggest outlet up until recently was writing articles for my local Labour Party's website (uncredited though).
Then I discovered Yorkshire Bylines. I've written several articles for them over the past few months and it's reignited my passion for journalism. Writing is definitely something I want to do more of.
Getting donations on here will help me get better equipment, get certifications and continually improve my content. It'll also greatly help me with my efforts to write books. These books will expand on some of the topics I normally write about.
