Hi, I’m Dr. Melo, the creator and host of the YouTube show, Data Yap. 🎥🎙️ This is my serious hobby that I do on my spare time: yap with folks about how they use data and information to inform their decisions and make sense of the worlds! 📈 📉 We all tackle data and information every day, so I view data as of the people, for the people, and by the people.

I enjoy connecting with folks from all persuasions of life. That means I want to talk to you, whether you’re a data scientist or a musician or a Pokémon hobbyist. 💡How so? Well, I believe that everyone has the capacity to produce knowledge, regardless of your age, class, or background. I value learning in the classroom, outside the classroom, and in the school of life. This is why I think I can learn from just about anybody I meet, and vice versa.
