Risks and Challenges

This project comes with a number of specific risks and challenges that I want to explain as transparently as possible.

First, English is not my native language. Although I am bilingual and I work carefully on every translation, there may be certain expressions, concepts, or meanings that do not translate into English exactly as they were originally intended in Spanish. If that happens, I kindly ask for a little patience and, above all, that any mistakes or unnatural phrasing be pointed out to me in a constructive way so I can correct them.

.

Budget Use and Episode Priorities

Virtually all funds raised through this campaign will go toward production costs and purchasing tokens for the artificial intelligence tools used to create the series.

My main priority will always be to continue and eventually complete the adaptation of the story, rather than spending a disproportionate amount of resources correcting very small visual imperfections.

This means that some minor errors may remain in the published versions of certain episodes. These could include small inconsistencies involving background characters, secondary elements within particularly complex environments, or unimportant objects that may change or disappear between shots.

That does not mean that major errors will be ignored.

Priority will be given to problems that significantly affect a scene or could seriously distract the viewer, such as important objects incorrectly merging together, characters becoming unrecognizable or ambiguous, obvious deformations, extra limbs, or other visual issues commonly associated with AI-generated content.

In other words, I will try to maintain a reasonable balance between visual perfection and actual progress. If correcting a very small detail requires consuming resources that could otherwise be used to produce an entirely new scene, I will most likely prioritize continuing the story.

.

Resolution and Visual Quality

At the moment, generating video natively in 1080p can cost approximately three times as much as producing it in 480p, depending on the tools and models being used.

For this reason, my base production workflow is currently built around generating material in 480p, followed by additional processes to prepare the final footage.

If the campaign receives sufficient funding, one of my main goals will be to gradually dedicate more resources to improving the native quality of the series. This may include correcting smaller errors that I would otherwise have to leave untouched, regenerating certain scenes, and eventually producing more of the project directly in 1080p.

Additional funding would also allow me to dedicate more time and resources to creating custom and immersive sound effects designed and edited by me, with the goal of significantly improving the overall audiovisual experience.

.

The Limitations of Artificial Intelligence

The project's main technical risks are directly related to the current limitations of artificial intelligence.

The designs of the main characters have already been created and established, and I constantly work with models, visual references, voices, expressions, and gestures in an effort to maintain each character's identity as consistently as possible.

However, no AI generation tool can guarantee perfect consistency.

There is always a possibility that certain characters may appear incorrectly in some shots, that specific movements or especially complex environments may prove difficult to reproduce, or that a particular scene may be much more difficult to adapt than originally expected.

In extreme cases, there may also be scenes that cannot be reproduced exactly as written with the tools available at that time. If this happens, I will look for alternative approaches involving direction, composition, or storytelling that preserve the original intention of the scene without compromising the story itself.

The good news is that, so far, situations in which a scene has been completely impossible to adapt have been very rare. Even so, I believe it is important to acknowledge that possibility from the beginning and to be prepared to find solutions as new limitations arise.

The technology continues to evolve, and part of the challenge of this project is learning how to work within those limitations, taking advantage of new tools as they become available, and using the campaign's resources as efficiently as possible.
.

My commitment is to remain transparent with everyone who supports La guerra de Pandora, prioritize the continuity of the story, and use every contribution to take this adaptation as far as the available resources and technology allow.
