Acerca de Darren Glancy
Darren Glancy is a dance music producer from Port Glasgow, Scotland, with original productions released through Tidy Trax and EML Recordings, alongside releases on Hard Dance Revolution Records, DNZ Records and other dance labels.
Over the years, Darren has developed a diverse catalogue spanning hands-up, bounce, trance, UK hardcore and hard dance, combining strong melodies, vocals and classic dance influences with a distinctly club-focused production style. His work with Elle Mariachi on Tidy Trax, alongside more recent collaborations with Arturis and Awzpici0us, forms part of a catalogue that includes original productions, collaborations, remixes and bootlegs.
From earlier releases such as ‘Follow Me Into The Shadows’, through his UK hardcore productions under Darren G including ‘Heavyweight Official Remix with Bridson’, to more recent work such as ‘Longing For You’, ‘Back To The Beat’ and ‘Caught On Rewind’, Darren’s music has continued to evolve while retaining a focus on high-energy melodies for peak-time dancefloors.
Drawing inspiration from the classic sounds and records that shaped the harder side of dance music, Darren continues to develop his production style with a modern approach to sound, arrangement and songwriting. His recent work has seen him move further towards hard trance and hard dance, combining the vocal and melodic elements that have featured throughout his catalogue with faster tempos, tougher production and a more driving club sound.
For Darren, the focus now is on continuing to refine his sound, develop his production technique and push each record further than the last. With every release, the aim is to keep evolving while staying true to the melodies, energy and emotion that have always been at the heart of his music.
