This summer heat has ground me to a halt. For most things. I have an article ready to go that will hopefully be published tomorrow. Streams have hit a standstill as it's been too hot to really do so. Weirdly, the one thing I have found the resolve to do is videos.
In the June Switch eShop sales, I'd come across two games that I figured would be short enough to keep contained to a video format. One of those being BIG-Bobby-Car - The Big Race. Part one released on the 10th, with part two releasing tomorrow. Aware of the heat already causing disruption to streaming, I figured it would be wise to feature the Hot Wheels expansion of Forza Horizon 3 in a video and do the same for the new one coming to Forza Horizon 5 when it released.
As for what I intend to do with the rest of Racing Month, the focus for articles will be on the concepts. As I say, the one is already fully written. It just needs a bit more checking over before it can be published. The second will possibly see a release right at the end of the month. While it does fully need writing up, I know exactly how I want that concept to look, so it shouldn't take long.
For streams, I still want to play some racing games live before the month is out. Wreckfest is a certainty, as is Forza Horizon. One of the Cars games as well, just so a bit of that franchise focus can feature.
As for next month, the rest of that franchise focus will come early in the month, as will a bit of focus on Hitman. The new map is releasing at the end of this month, and I can't wait to get exploring it. And not to give too much more away, I've been enjoying Slime Rancher through Xbox cloud gaming, so I feel like a write up on my experiences with it is in order.
