Creating a dashboard for UK Public Inquiries so we know what to fix
One day the Sun will expand and swallow the Earth. What can we do to be ready?
I'm a first-principles problem-solver with a cross-disciplinary background: Astrophysics → Space industry (engineering/operations) → Tech (cybersecurity/comms at scale). I want to help make things better using data.
UK Public Inquiry Dashboard
Public inquiries are meant to help us learn from failure, but their recommendations are buried in long PDF reports and rarely followed up. This project makes them trackable: what was recommended, what's been done, and what still hasn't.
The initial research is funded. What keeps it useful is staying current.
UK policy changes. Laws pass. New bodies are created. Partial implementations become complete — or quietly stall. Without regular updates the dashboard becomes a snapshot, not a live tracker. Every month there are recommendations that deserve a second look.
Ongoing support funds:
Monthly re-sweeps — re-checking unresolved recommendations as UK policy evolves
Deeper searches — a second pass on the ~40% that didn't return evidence first time, using more thorough searches
Higher-quality passes — using more capable models for complex systemic recommendations that aren't answered by a single law or document
🪙 £3/month — keeps one small inquiry up to date
🪙🪙 £5/month — covers a monthly re-sweep of a medium inquiry
🪙🪙🪙 £10/month — funds a deeper second-pass on hard cases
🪙🪙🪙🪙 £20/month — keeps the whole dashboard live and improving
All findings are open source and free to use. No paywall, no ads.
