It easy to look at experienced nail techs and feel like they're just lucky, or that they have been given opportunities everyone else doesn't get to have. Whilst this is sometimes the case, its rare! Most people work hard and have done for years to get where they are, its never usually a case of baby businesses becoming overnight sensations. Let me tell you a little about me.
I have been a nail tech for over 10 years. I have around 5k followers on Instagram. It wasnt till I really started Tiktok my voice was heard but I was always consistent anyway. I posted every few days, always tagging who I used and researching trending designs and hashtags. I tried to morph myself into what I thought the industry wanted me to be. But eventually I couldnt do it anymore, I wasnt seen so in the end i just decided to be me, real and honest. And thats when things changed. We are an industry that values openness and honesty.
I didn’t get here by being #blessed. I got here purely by grafting. Years of practice. Years of putting my work out onto social media to feel overlooked. Of looking up to other professional wishing they would see me. Years of being ignored, doubting myself, but always showing up anyway. I've had no shortcuts. No overnight successes. Just learning, unlearning, and constant self-improvement. In doing so I've found me. Even my wins have been fought for through self doubt and anxiety.
And now I’m here, not to gatekeep everything I’ve learned, but to help make it a little easier for you. Giving you real industry knowledge, proper, in depth education based on science not brand affiliation, and the supportive community I wish I’d had when I started.
You don’t need luck in this industry. You need guidance, perseverance, consistency, and people in your corner.
