Hi! It's been a while since I posted, and my apologies for that. I realized I updated the GoFundMe on Franklyn's health but forgot to do so here, so here I am.
A little more than a week ago, I took Franklyn to get his echocardiogram and the results were not that great. Basically, he has what they call a "false tendon" that traverses his heart and it makes the passageway for blood more narrow. This, in turn, causes his heart to work harder and now parts of his heart are enlarged.
Franklyn was prescribed a bunch of meds, which, thankfully I received free of charge. Franklyn isn't happy about them; he hates the taste of the one liquid med. They also said he needs to have more bloodwork and blood pressure check done in 2-3 weeks and another echocardiogram in 6 months to make sure the meds are helping.
This means, of course, that I'm keeping the GoFundMe up for Franklyn's continued vet care. Additionally, donations to this page will also go toward the vet care (since I know some don't use GoFundMe). If you would like, here's the link to the GoFundMe instead.
