Jørn Earl Otte could really use your help. He is a Danish-American essayist, author, and poet, whose work has appeared in numerous publications, but money is so fuggin tight. He’s a good fuggin writer — A Finnegan Award winner for Excellence in Writing for Young Adults, he obtained his BFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont, where he was one of the founding editors of the literary magazine Duende. While attending Goddard, he was able to work with such notable artists and writers as Laurie Foos, Wendy Call, Janet Sylvester, Ah-Keisha McCans, James SoSoon Gantt, and many others. He earned his MFA in Writing for Young People from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was mentored by Jason Reynolds, Michelle “Mikki” Knudsen, and Chris Lynch. He is working on a young adult novel series, “SOLOMON SPARKS,” but because we live in an end-stage capitalistic hellscape, he could use some coffee. From you.
