My name's Dan aged 40 and this is my story.. I have been Living in Thailand for almost 6 years, Married to a Thai Lady named Pim and we have a 1 year old Son together. I am currently Living in the province of Buriram and I own a Marketing Company in England. I live in Thailand permanently with a Thailand Elite Visa which cost me 500,000 baht, I work online and live a very village style life in Buriram. My Life was very different in England, I have been involved in the sales and marketing industry most of my life and in 2012 I started growing my own sales and marketing company, I was earning a lot of money sometimes in the excess of £15,000 per week but I was far from happy and needed to make some changes in my life.. So a close friend told me he was going to Thailand in a couple of weeks for 2 months during Christmas and that he was going to travel around Thailand and explore and he asked if I would like to join him.. I spoke to my current girlfriend at the the time who I had been with for 7 years if I could go with him and you can guess what her reaction was 🙈😂 she obviously said "NO" So I decided to tell her how unhappy I was and that I needed to change things in my life and that it was virtually impossible to think about what I want to do with my life while I'm stuck here, she seen that I was telling the truth and allowed me to go to Thailand 👍 The 2 months in Thailand gave me the relaxation I needed to think about my life in England, I was in a 7 year relationship and wasn't in love with my partner, I owned a successful business but it didn't make me happy or proud, i went to work every day in a suit, I had a beautiful house, nice clothes, nice things such as Rolex watches, jewellery and every gadget you could imagine as I was constantly spending money trying to find happiness! I realised while being in Thailand that my life had to change as I didn't like my business, the people I worked with, my relationship with my partner was more of a friendship than a relationship and the most important thing for me is that I finally realised money doesn't make me happy! So i went back to England and decided to fire all of my staff 😳except my sister that worked for me and I closed down my office. I then decided to end things with my girlfriend and explained to her the reasons why, I packed up everything I could into 2 suitcases and gave everything else I owned away and I was on a plane back to Thailand after only being back in England 7 days. I came back to Thailand on a 6 Month Visa and I decided that 6 months was enough time to really evaluate my life. When my 6 month Visa ran out I made the decision that I wanted to stay in Thailand permanently so I jumped online to find out how and I found "Thailand Elite" which sells 5 year, 10 year and 25 year Visas so I purchased a 5 year Visa for 500,000 Baht 🙈 ...................... This is just the beginning of my story I could write a book about my experiences in Thailand over the past 6 years that I've been in Thailand but rather than do that I am going to share my story on YouTube and on here and hopefully you guys will enjoy....
