Off grid living
Hey everyone 👋 Our names are Sam and Danielle, we are living off grid in Cheshire with our 3 beautiful dogs Thor, Luna and Wolfie.
Sam is an NHS professional and Danielle is a canine behaviourist and trainer.
In November 2022 we were evicted from our home of 7 years 😞 We could not find a single private Landlord who would rent to us with our 3 big dogs.
The only option seemed to be to rehome them…we could never have done that!
And so we have found ourselves living off grid in a converted Leyland Horse Box!! 😅
It was an extremely tough winter! Temperatures got down to minus 11 degrees so the five of us snuggled into plenty of doggy piles! 🥰
Now the weather is getting warmer, we’re looking at improving our horse box to make it more sustainable. We plan to live here for the long term and so, we need lots to invest into our future!
Our horse box, who we’ve named Fenrir, still needs some work so we are saving as much as we can to complete little jobs each month.
We will post regular photos and videos of the progress on our Wolf Box 😅 and our life living off grid with our beautiful dogs.
We are looking for help in making our improvements and are happy to share our journey in return.
