Unique glass art and nature/plant based content creation
Dancing Shadowz Glass Art, custom and unique, functional glass painting.
BeLeaf Roots and All, growing and learning about plants and nature.
As a South African artist now based in London (part of the artist collective: @hanwaycollective), my creative journey is rooted in a deep connection to nature — from the rich colours and textures of the landscapes I grew up with to the lush greenery of my plant-filled home and garden. What began as a simple DIY gift has blossomed into a passionate exploration of hand-painted glassware, where sustainability and beauty go hand in hand.
Working in my London studio, I’m constantly experimenting with the interplay of glass and light — how a painted curve can catch the sun, or how a coloured pane can transform a space. Plants are a constant muse for me, not only in form and colour but in purpose too. I love creating pieces like propagation vases and floral vessels that are both functional and inspired by the natural world.
From wine glasses to lamps, from door panels to even fish tanks, each piece I make is a celebration of upcycling and eco-conscious design. I believe in turning the ordinary into the extraordinary — giving everyday glass a second life as functional, luminous art. Thank you for being part of this journey and helping me keep creating and growing.
