Generosity Shows A Heart of Gratitude To God
Grateful people are generous people. Generous people are grateful people. I have learned that mental health is directly related to an Attitude of Gratitude. Ungrateful people can develop all sorts of personality disorders and mental illnesses. A cure for many distresses is an Attitude of Gratitude.
An airplane can gain altitude quickly and can maintain remarkable heights. An airplane’s ALTITUDE is its relationship to the ground. But an airplane also has ATTITUDE. An airplane’s attitude is its own relationship to itself. No matter what your ALTITUDE is, no matter how high you fly, if your ATTITUDE is not right, you’re coming down!
Generosity Shows A Heart of Gratitude To God (II Corinthians 9:10-14)
10 Now the one who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will also provide and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us. 12 For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 13 Because of the proof provided by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedient confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone. 14 And as they pray on your behalf, they will have deep affection for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.
Generosity Reflects God’s Indescribable Gift (II Corinthians 9:15)
