A Little About Me...

A Little About Me...

Jan 03, 2024

I am not really big on this kind of stuff, but given that I want to grow into having more of an online presence, I suppose I should share some details about myself here seeing as I don't actually have any social media accounts...

As of July 10, 2023 I am now 27 years old. I live in a rural town of Lillooet found in British Columbia Canada; unfortunately the same town I was born & raised in, but once I establish more clients for my day job (or change jobs altogether) I plan to move further East to live closer to my friends & family. If you couldn't guess, I am insanely passionate about video games & have been since I was introduced to a Nintendo Gamecube at the age of 7. I spent hours upon hours trapped in my own world essentially "life simulating" in Zelda - Ocarina of Time & that sense of joy & fantastical wonder never left me into adulthood.

As you can see from my little selfie below, I love tattoos as well. I've spent my whole life listening to metal & rock & have been obsessed with that "alt look" since. My favourite bands are Chevelle, Deftones, System of a Down, Alexisonfire, Breaking Benjamin, Coheed & Cambria, Protest the Hero, Lacuna Coil, In Flames, Katatonia, Marilyn Manson, Ne Obliviscaris, Nonpoint, & Tool to name a few. I could go on & on about music.

Unfortunately, since open sourced video game guides isn't really a lucrative business for me as of yet, I do have a day job. Contrary to how much time you must think I spend in-doors, I have an environmental diploma, have worked in the forestry/wildfire sector for the last 5 years & counting, as well as working towards an aspiring career in wildlife biology. I am incredibly fortunate to work for the company I do to be able to essentially work as an employee while also a private contractor that can choose my own hours. I specialize in dry/zonal ecosystem silviculture, wildfire forest management, community wildfire protection, as well as wildlife species at risk mitigation & restoration (which is the direction I am mostly steering towards).

When I am not working ( or gaming) I enjoy epic adventures hiking across British Columbia, with an obsession for summit-ing local mountains. I am a bit unorthodox on this front as I don't really like going to "known" places & instead sort of just spot a random mountain peak & say "how long/hard do you think that will take me to do?"... Most times, I regret the attempts. Most of my adventure memories are the ones that are fond in hindsight as opposed to savoured in the moment, with some exceptions.

I also am "currently" writing a fantasy series with my older brother & have one published novel, though this is more his ticket to self employment than mine. Seeing as though it took us four years to publish a single novel... I do not have too much faith in this side hustle, but have been a part of my brother's world for years & am very attached to it. If you are interested in some amateur fantasy, check our little website... there is not much on it:

If I am being honest, I am not sure where this guide writing endeavour is going. While I would love to simply write Achievement Guides & make money doing it... I don't think that is realistic. That being said, this is just simply something I really enjoy doing... I don't even think I can play video games anymore without deconstructing them into written format. I am just that kind of crazy. If you have made it this far, I thank you from the bottom of my heart in making my dreams come true. This will never end. In some way, shape, or form I plan to always be writing my guides & releasing them for at least one person to use.

Thank you for everything, & as always, Happy Hunting!
