My name is Mike. I'm the person behind Cycle Martha's Vineyard.

I started Cycle Martha's Vineyard shortly after completing a bike ride around the entire island as birthday challenge to myself. It was a wonderful tour on a beautiful day in October and left a mark with me and showed me how truly beautiful and singular Martha's Vineyard is.

Preparing for the ride, I noticed there wasn't one singular route I could look at and download to Google Maps or, in my case, my Wahoo GPS. I put the route I rode together by-hand and found, though parts of it were very wrong, it got me through the full ride.

The ride inspired me to see if there was a place I could find specific routes for the island with downloadable maps, including a full-island route. To my surprise, I couldn't find any. From that observation and experience, I started Cycle Martha's Vineyard, a place where people looking for routes around the island big and small can go to find those routes.
