Cyber Scotland Connect (CSC) was founded on a simple principle: to create a holistic, diverse, and judgment-free hub for the Scottish cybersecurity community. Whether you are a student at Abertay, a CISO in Edinburgh, or a career-switcher in Glasgow, CSC is your space to network, share, and grow.
Why we’re here: We run regular, informal meetups that are strictly sales-free and open to all. From our "Open Session" events for new speakers to our large-scale "Volume" meetups, we aim to keep the Scottish InfoSec scene passionate and thriving.
Why we’re asking for your support: While our organisers are volunteers and our community partners are incredibly generous, running a community of this scale incurs costs. Your "coffees" help us cover:
- Refreshments & Networking: Keeping the pizza and drinks flowing at our in-person meetups.
- Infrastructure: Website hosting, Meetup.com platform fees, and digital tools for our community.
All donations are strictly used to support our community aims, no single person or paid, or directly personally benefits from your donation other than getting to continue to attend our events and leverage in our collective awesome community!
