My latest review is Miss Burnham and The Loose Thread by Lynn Knight. This book is set in the 1920's with great time period background details. Rose, who runs a ladies dresswear business with her sisters turns ameteur sleuth and investigates after one of her clients becomes a victim of romance fraud.
I also read an extract of Martin Edwards new novel, Miss Winter in The Library with A Knife. This book is about a murder mystery game that involves six people who are drawn together to solve a fictional crime writers murder. I thought that this extract had a great set up with a sense of foreboding.
