I'm a clinical psychologist and professor who spent three seasons watching Ted Lasso and taking it seriously, as a study of grief, belief, defense, and the slow work of becoming a person. This reading room is the result, a library of essays reading the show through the psychology underneath it, for anyone who suspected it was doing more than it let on.

The reading room is free and always will be. If an essay gave you something, you can leave a little something here. The button says coffee, but make mine tea.
