Hi Michael,
I decided to encapsulate my 2ft height crawl space when I noticed the humidity spike as the outside temp/humidity increased. I found your videos and purchased products from CSN. So far I have sealed the vents and installed the CSN dehumidifier. Before I move to the next phases, I was hoping to get answers to a few questions.
Look forward to connecting.

Hi Michael, I've been binge-watching your videos for a couple weeks now after receiving a $38k bid to do a complete remediation on my 1997 Idaho house. Today I started tackling the preliminary checklist you provided. I got "derailed" from my list when I discovered that my "rim joists" don't look like any I've seen on ANY videos. My joists are supported by wooden posts, and the ends of the joists abut the concrete directly. I have a 1-2" gap between the top of the foundation concrete and the subfloor. There is not a sill plate. My issue is condensation on the concrete, insulation, ductwork, etc, that is causing major moisture dripping, critters, destruction and high humidity. I uploaded some videos here - see the progression of my day and discoveries. https://youtu.be/yMePd4xjcV0. I am going to call the Idaho building inspector department tomorrow and see if I can get any information on appropriate insulation or remediation for this type of build. Given I haven't seen ANY videos addressing this type of issue I'm at a loss. Thanks for your videos and giving me the courage to tackle this job. BTW, the $38k bid included proposed filling the "rim joists," even though I don't have any.
