The roundabout rule in the Road Safety Road Rules 2017 legislation in Victoria, Australia is "give way to vehicles already inside the roundabout."

This video showcases the roundabout rule working in great succession thanks to some excellent road users and driving educator assistance. To note, the student driver is still very new to driving so there is a lot of instruction.
In Victoria, Australia, we have much confusion and misunderstanding around the roundabout rule!
It is not "give way to the right." The problem with that language use, is that road users will stop for others approaching from the right that are outside the roundabout but not a danger.
Yes, road users can approach quite dangerously from outside the roundabout. In those situations, we do not enter first!
