Hi everyone! The land of purchasing digital products is laid out before us, and it can be a bit confusing - from the creators perspective too. So I thought I'd do a quick post on how to navigate such purchases. It does depend upon the platform and how things are set up, so you may get a file link via an email (check your spam/junk, and on computer as some phones have blockers), or you may get directed to an external hosting, or you may immediately see a download button after payment. My current listings on Buy Me A Coffee are set up that way, so:
Instant Direct Download: Immediately after completing your payment, a download button (often for a ZIP, PDF, or image file) will appear on your screen. Clicking this button downloads the file directly to your device (usually found in your computer's Downloads folder)
The "Downloads" Folder: By default, web browsers save files directly to a computer's "Downloads" folder, so have a look there. You might also find this short video by another artist helpful, as he explains and shows how to find a file after purchasing from a Buy Me A Coffee Shop
