À propos Michelle
Hi, I’m Michelle, a survivor, trauma therapist, social worker, and advocate for change.
As a child I experienced multiple forms of abuse, including child sexual abuse. My own journey through pain and healing has shaped the work I do today, as a trauma therapist, social worker, and proud advocate with the Brave Movement, as well as co-founder of the Northern Ireland Survivor Council.
I fight every day alongside my colleagues to make sure no child has to endure what we did and that those who have are met with compassion, justice, and the right support. I speak out, campaign for change, and create spaces where survivors are heard and valued.
Alongside my advocacy, I provide counselling and therapeutic support to children, young people, and adults impacted by trauma. Each year, I offer a number of free sessions to those who cannot afford therapy, because I believe healing should never depend on your bank balance. My advocacy work is entirely voluntary, and much of what I do is self-funded.
Your support here helps me keep going, covering costs for free therapy sessions, advocacy campaigns, survivor-led projects, and outreach work. Every coffee you buy is a step toward a world where victims and survivors are supported, children are protected, and change is real.
Thank you for standing with me. Together, we can make sure no one is left to survive alone.
